My name is Peter Hamezopoulos. I came from Greece in 1968. Since then, I have been very successfully involved with Greek cuisine from New York to New Orleans. For more than 40 years, we have used our traditional Greek family recipes to bring the magnificent Mediterranean tastes in food to your table. Now, we'd like to thank you for the welcome and hospitality we have received since coming to Natchez, Mississippi.
As you browse our Menu, you'll find the Greek foods so many in this area have come to love. The Spanakopita is prepared with tender spinach, delightful Feta cheese, and light, flaky Filo dough. We get rave reviews for our Baba Ghanoush, eggplant grilled in breadcrumbs with Feta and garlic.
Of course, our most favorite dish is the flaming Saganaki, prepared with imported Kasseri cheese and served with an Ouzo flame!
Yes, we prepare fresh Hummus daily, as well as Dolmades (stuffed grape leaves), Kabobs, and Greek salads with those wonderful olives, because that's what you would expect from a fine Greek restaurant.
But we also serve tender Filet Mignon and Ribeye steaks, cooked to your liking, Pork and Lamb Chops, Shrimp, Oysters and fresh fish, as well as several types of Pasta dishes.
And what would a Greek restaurant like Center City Bistro do without the rich, sweet dessert known to the world as Baklava? But we also tempt you with Chocolate Eclairs, cheesecake and others.
